A generalisation too far IMHO.
Too right wing, bunch of red necks (generally!)

1530: US defence officials say they have seized two strategically important airfields in western Iraq.

BBC News 24 is reporting that an air raid has started on Bagdhad. CNN has been told (by the americans) to leave the city.
Reporters are suggesting that this is the start of the long threatened 'shock and awe' (i.e terror bombing).
Speculation that the war was planned to start today - but the attempted assinaiton on Saddam meant things started early.
Any upto date news sources on the net other than BBC?
Is canadian media less 'patriotic'?

North Korea has accused the US of preparing a pre-emptive strike on its nuclear facilities, as US-led forces continued to attack Iraq.
This worrying first hint of Koreas feelings is worrying, and there could well be no troop leave from now on in. USA has already passed a senate motion pointing at Iran, so i think were going to see this War being widened as the weeks go on.
