Israel says it has imposed a military blockade on Lebanon:

Below is the relevant part of the above linked article, the rest talks about the killing of Nasrallah

Wrt to the land border crossings and the attacks on bulldozers. I saw a vid a couple of days ago of a massive crater on road, this probably explains why.

Not sure how genuine that is - it hasnt been reported anywhere else and a blockade as described there would not be workable.

This is worth a read:

very good

Iran's supreme leader taken to secure location, sources say
DUBAI, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been taken to a secure location inside Iran amid heightened security, sources told Reuters, a day after Israel killed the head of Iran-backed Lebanese group Hezbollah in a strike on Beirut.

The move to safeguard Iran's top decision-maker is the latest show of nervousness by the Iranian authorities as Israel launched a series of devastating attacks on Hezbollah, Iran's best armed and most well-equipped ally in the region.

I don’t think anything will be done to rock the boat this side of the election, either in Israel or Ukraine. Too much risk.

Biden needs to keep Israel sweet because Netanyahu wants a Trump presidency again and won’t hesitate to exploit any shortcomings in US aid to damage Democrat chances. Hopefully Harris will be less willing to back genocide if she scrapes in next month.

Yeah, Netanyahu knows he has the US by the short and curlies until election season is over...

I very much doubt Harris will do much of anything different to her predecessors except perhaps be a bit more free with the Lies about how US is pushing Israel for a ceasfire. US is preparing seriously now for war in the middle East and its 100% backing of Israel is, was and will always be a constant whoever is in the whitehouse, it goes way deeper than just appeasing the Zionists pre election its a permanent feature of the relationship

They did this once already earlier in the year and most of them got shot down didn't they? Hard to tell if this is any more serious

The pictures I've seen suggests that the attack has overwhelmed the Israeli ballistic missile defence system (Mach 15-20 or so in terminal phase, takes a few minutes from Iran.

There'll be lots of casualties - and unlike last time, Israel will retaliate hard.

The last attack, in April, failed because most of the munitions were subsonic - so they took ages to get to Israel, and we're fairly easy to intercept be at they were slow - and most of them never got near Israel . They were shot down over Jordan. There were ballistic missiles in the mix, but a) relatively few, and b) not all at once.

Loads of missiles seem to be landing, from the pictures on the news.

You note on the basis of er no evidence whatsoever. If your post was a motion this would come under believes

Every time I check in here (and it's becoming less and less often due to folks like you) I see you've become more of an arrogant wanker than the last time. Constantly sniping at folks and yet you always seem to be 'just observing'. You provide no analysis or opinions. What on earth do you think? Would really like to know. Or are you just killing time whilst studying for your PHD? Did you ever complete it, or are you still studying by the way?
