According to Leipziger Zeitung "The “Reclaim Antifa” alliance, which consists of the groups “Kappa”, “Utopia & Praxis”, “Youth Against the Right” and the feminist “Fantifa”, called for this. These groups had already called for an Israel solidarity event in May. " and " was under the motto “Now more than ever – against the anti-Semitic normal state”.

According to a Twitter link slogans on the march included :

"Nice weather, tough times, fight for Zionism!"

"No God, no state, no caliphate!"

"Free Gaza from Hamas - Free Westbank from Abbas"

"Germans know 1 direction - dominance, exploitation and destruction"

"We don't want a lot - solidarity with Israel"

There's also a belting catchy one third from the bottom that according to google translate says : "What gives Leninists steam - value criticism instead of class struggle!"
So there you go Westsplainers

The newspaper says 300 took part and apparently 700 took part in a pro Palestinian march the previous day in Leipzig.
Who is KAPPA then? When I used to go to Germany on Inter-rail in the 1970s it was a large department store with food hall in the manner of John Lewis or Selfridges on Oxford Street.

Your newspaper may say 300 but mine says 600. God knows who these groups are .

Didnt want to come over abruptly. I don't know who these particular groups are however the same position and arguments have recently split most of the international St Pauli associations away from the German St. Pauli group.
Supporters at some other German clubs have also adopted a pro-Israel stance.

They must be really fun at parties

The delivery of this video may grate on some but the message / essence is about the executive director of UNICEF married to the chairman of an armaments co.pany that is making the bombs being dropped in Gaza.
She names both and links to the company.
Asking the question "why hasn't the UN stopped this genocide?"

Is this true? And if it is...what the fuck ?

Did you google Catherine Russell unicef husband? If so you'll have seen this no doubt Thomas E. Donilon - Wikipedia. E2a there's an Aladdin link via blackrock

So clearly a video game, amazed anyone thinks this is real.
Funny how it's been linked to in the NYT and Aric Toler of Bellingcat retweeted the linked article. one might think he would be concerned for his credibility as an open source researcher:

e2a here is the linked vid from the NYT article. The difference between it and and the one posted upthread is that it has Arabic blurb at the beginning which appears to have been stripped out of the reposted vids:

Are video games that good now?

It looks real...

No they aren't. I mean what it is is another question, but what it isn't is a video game. Inclined to think its been fact checked if its cropping up in NYT etc as mentioned upthread.

Fucking bizarre couple of pages... Not for the posters I mean, but the whole what the absolute fuck is even happening of it all.

It shows that the Houthis are capable of (or at least shownig a presence) controlling a strategicaly important part of the red sea around Hodeida, a port that has been hit pretty badly by war and embargoes....

Can anyone explain what "value criticism" is in plain language? I've googled and none the wiser

Also 75pc of Gaza's population of roughly 2 million homeless supposedly.

Don’t see why that matters, it’s so blatant it’s doesn’t bear discussing tbh.
It’s a real ship, which really has been missing for the past 48 hours plus. As the NYT article says, “The whereabouts of the Galaxy Leader has been unknown since Saturday, when its last received location signal showed it in the Red Sea, between Saudi Arabia and Sudan.” And tankers have regularly been pirated over the years, because they have minimal crew. Why wouldn’t this be real?

Think there's an assumption that because people have been fooled by games in the past, it must be possible that anything's a game. Footage for most of that I believe came from Arma 3 (usefully generic environments)... Just... have look at what it those clips actually look like. It just needs to pass the 'some fucker on twitter test', and usually doesn't get much further than that. Also have a look at games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III or Cyberpunk. Played in 4k ultra etc. They can't achieve this... E.g I'll stick one in spoilers below. Conveniently industrial. Look at the textures on storage stuff (e.g at about 9:50), look at how people move etc. That's if you even get past the fact the Houthis would have to have some of the best and quickest modders in the world.

Could be acted after the event or something, who knows, but it sure as fuck isn't a game.
