There's no future in England's dreaming
He's not far off. May no way. Too mild. High turnout suits Labour. Make it cold. Hang on for as long as possible but not right to the end coz that just looks desperate.

Agree with all you say, but accepting that means I'd have to contemplate that Osborne isn't lying. He's not far off. May no way. Too mild. High turnout suits Labour. Make it cold. Hang on for as long as possible but not right to the end coz that just looks desperate.

It must be confusing to live in Germany, where there is a party called (in German) "The Left".And so you end up with the blancmange steeplejack linked to, where New Labour or the SPD are left.
Frankly I think the terms are not that useful anyway but if it all is relative then they are nonsense.
I don't agree with Lord Maurice Glassman on much but I always liked his response to progressive politics by pointing out that his mum died of a progressive illness.Saw that. A wonderful argument for why 'progressive' needs to be nuked from space.
God, a Streeting loss would be delicious. He's the one the Labour Right have lined up to succeed Starmer, and unlike the fucking useless Starmer he's a proper Gove style privatization zealot as well as a (delete libellous content here).
Wes will never lead the Labour Party, he is not popular enough among the MPs. Politics aren't enough you actually have to be liked by your colleagues. I mean some like him but many don't.
Does anyone genuinely like Starmer?Wes will never lead the Labour Party, he is not popular enough among the MPs. Politics aren't enough you actually have to be liked by your colleagues. I mean some like him but many don't.
His mam maybe?Does anyone genuinely like Starmer?

Even other right wingers don't like him. My ex (who is pretty left) is actually friendly with him having known him for years, but even she would laugh at the idea of him being suitable leader material. He's one of those people who I keep meeting people who said they knew him at uni or the NUS and thought he was a bastard

Did you hear she was a nurse? His mam maybe?
He never mentions it.Did you hear she was a nurse?
Are you telling me that Starmer's mother was a nurse? He never mentions it.
No idea. Also no idea what his father did.Are you telling me that Starmer's mother was a nurse?
No way.Are you telling me that Starmer's mother was a nurse?
I had genuinely forgotten what his father did for a minute there.Apprently, the father of Keir Starmer was a toolmaker who lived in a pebble-dash house.

When do people in the USA celebrate the Fourth of July? Is it in April? No! I've been wondering about that. Also, does anyone know the date of the Hamas attack on Israel? Can't find it anywhere...
Yes, as had often been said, the Labour party sadly chose the wrong brother to be their leaderProbably one of the best things that could happen to the British working class would be for Jeremy Corbyn to cark it.
