Why the reluctance to answer the question? What do you personally understand by “girlboss”? Why did you personally choose to use it as an insult against this particular unpleasant individual?
I don’t know why you are so keen for us to report your post. I never report posts. I’m far more keen to have it out as a discussion and get to the underlying issue.

For any normal people who have the misfortune to discover this mess, I referred to Margarita Simonyan as "RT girlboss", a vague nod to a comedy trope, and a load of cranks lost their shit.
And there we have it, really. You thought a term was funny because it mocked women as leaders, so you copied that use as you saw it. The very idea of women running things! That’s so silly it needs a special mocking word for it!

It’s not. It’s about right wing women who pretend that their success is representative of equality and that they are doing it for women in general. It’s a commentary on the appropriation of feminist tropes for capitalist means. This derives directly from Angela McRobbie’s commentary on “top girls”, coming out of the Blair era. That’s what I know.
Is there evidence that this RT editor is pretending she is representative of all women’s ability to be their perfectable self? Is she held up as a role model for young women to follow? Or is she just a woman?

Apparently, Ukrainians voting in the referendum face prison sentences of up to five years , so I guess not voting would be the preferred tactic for those who would normally have voted against?

No-one is going to be sent to jail for voting. First the Ukrainian army has got to recapture the territory anyway. Second there will be no reliable record of who voted, because the entire referendum is a huge exercise in complete pretence.
Got a source for that? Sounds dubious.
