The Ashes 2023

One other benefit of the prolonged rain break today is it has given Wood a chance to get a proper break, he look shagged yesterday as England had barely batted for two sessions before he was out bowling again.

Weren't we getting thrashed at one point in this game? How did we end up here?
Why didn't Bairstow call for that? A guy in a helmet catching it over his shoulder or a keeper running forwards with gloves on. He's useless.

Have to say this was really bad. Brook's brilliance matched by Bairstow's incompetence/lack of confidence. That was absolutely any wicket-keeper's catch.

Sad to see wrt Bairstow. He was a competent keeper . He's now a clueless keeper. And he's giving nothing with the bat. And the two are probably feeding each other.

Anyhow um. Sun comes out tomorrow and England are favourites. How did that happen?

Should be another exciting day. This game has been close throughout. Same as the other two. Fingers crossed.

Just seen this pic on Twitter. He already looks like he's about to thump the photographer.

Todd Murphy looks like somebody from the Bodyline series. Son of an outback farmer, gets stick from Jardine but takes a couple of crucial wickets and gets a pat on the back from Bradman as they walk off at the MCG.

It makes them easy to spot, and avoid, when you're at the ground though.

It takes a special sort of idiot to actually pay (and probably pay a lot) to experience cricket in a foreign country in that way. They don't even seem to cheer or celebrate, they just there like identical drones. Is this a new thing this tour? Can't remember seeing it before.
