Just left a cafe , with some friends , after eating a large francesinha and drinking beers , explaining that the England game was making me tired . The proprietor assured me that with England this wouldn’t be the first time as they had been one of the least interesting teams he had seen over the last ten years .

It's bemusing that both our two top scorers, in succession, spent a lot of their careers dropping deep to try and get things moving, because they could arguably do a better job of the players who were supposed to be there.
