Wales v England: Cardiff Six Nations Showdown!

Amazing. We shut them down. Our front line was immense. Biggar superb. We played as a team. That was more satisfying than the 08 and 12 slams.

I was going to whinge about Walsh being utter shite today, but subsequent events have rendered that a little churlish.

Nothing from England today, Wales haven't even had to work to destroy us.

What a load of crap. I'm as English as they come, but you, sir, are a twat. They were fantastic, we were shite. Deal with it.

The English left flank disintegrated for both well worked Welsh tries, nothing unusual in history there then.:)

Cracking day out in Cardiff yesterday. The telly in The City Arms packed up at 57 minutes though. Amazing scenes as about 50 smartphones on different time lags were held aloft.

For all those complaining about the refereeing of the scrum and how bad/biased the ref was, it was noticeable that the famous ex-welsh international and all round Taffy boyo, Brian Moore, had no issue with it!

Yeah, the whinging at Walsh's reffing of the scrum is laughable. It comes from people who cannot cope with the notion that an English scrum was so utterly, totally dominated, and let's make no bones about it, it was smashed.

The psychological and physical impact of the disintegration of their tight five was the key to the rest of the game, IMO. It provided the platform for everything else. They knew that they would cough a penalty every time there was a knock-on or similar infringement. This sapped their resolve and undermined their gameplan. This is why Adam was MoM for me (as well as for his outstanding tackling, carrying, ruck defence, maul destroying and scrum-halfing all round performance)

Spot on. Our fronts were immense-england were completely annihilated. Looking at the BBC forums hearing some English fans complaining about the reffing reminds me of the myopic attitude of some welsh fans for blaming rolland for losing the rwc semi. Rugby fans (of all stripes) can be so blind at times.
