Odd innit, and he's doing a poor job. Hanson otoh, having a great game. Uncontested scrums from now on I assume? Not sure why VdF doing the line out throws
One thing that makes rugby poor if you go to an international / premiership game is you can’t hear the ref Mike. It should go out via the PA reallyGreat game, really enjoying this.
Was thinking how much better rugby refs and applying rules are than football:
refs explain why they're giving decisions
VAR much faster and less obtrusive
numbers on jerseys match position so you can see tactics more clearly
no arguing with the ref
only captain allowed to argue with the ref
10 metres forward if there's any arguing with the ref
you get booked for demanding someone should be booked?
advantage much more clearly played after a foul
ermmm ...
You can pay for the privilege. But it’s an expensive day out as it is.One thing that makes rugby poor if you go to an international / premiership game is you can’t hear the ref Mike. It should go out via the PA really
It should be part of the match day experience. You’re better off being at home otherwiseYou can pay for the privilege. But it’s an expensive day out as it is.
I wonder if the wind has put them off.Was thinking earlier that Scotland may regret taking kickable shots, and of course no one bothers with drop goals anymore
We played well enough at times just not quite there yet. Ireland still on a slightly higher level.
100%that first half was a real test match.. scotland not far from being Dangerous
