UK general election - the U75 poll

Since 2010 I've abandoned by anarcho-principles and voted Labour, given the alternative was a hideous tory gang. Unless there's a radical and/or Gaza candidate standing I'll probably go back to 'fuck 'em all'. My seat's red wall - Bishop Auckland - but the vermin have a 1% chance of keeping it according to some analysis linked on here. So, there's no chance my lack of a vote will help ratboy et al.

I can’t vote because dirty foreigner, but if I could, Labour. Not because I love them, because they are as left wing as my cat, but because a sense of ‘the bigger picture’ and a realistic assessment of the electorate chances of all the parties in play should always come first in my book.

Admittedly this one looks almost like a cert to get the fucking Tories out, but tactical voting ftw for me. I personally know several pro-Remain people who either didn’t vote or even voted to Leave ‘to send a message’ (to whomever that might have been), and then were fucking distraught when Leave won by a very few percentage points. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they as a collective of voters could have changed the outcome if they hadn’t made silly assumptions.

So regardless of how much you despise Labour, if you hate the fucking Tories more, as any decent human being should, and live in constituency where there’s any realistic chance of the pigs winning, please vote tactically.

I will be voting against the tories, they have dicked about with the constituencies here and created a new one for where I live so I will probably have to hold my nose again and vote for the twat that is standing for the SNP :(

green. im in Rachel Reeves constiutancy so labour will walk it.
Poll needs to add greens, nats, Refuk (they're may be one hiding out there ... )

Spunking cock or won't bother. Although thinking about it, my passport is due to expire pretty soon, so I have no idea whether voting with expired photo ID is allowed, I've got a very old provisional driving licence that I use to prove I'm over 18 when asked but don't know if I can vote with that either. Anyway, things would have to get really really weird for anyone but Labour to have any chance where I live so it's all a bit abstract anyway.

None of them. I have nothing but contempt for the venal, lying, cowardly, back-stabbing, shamelessly corrupt, parasitical filth which constitutes the current political class. Rentier scum, offering nothing but hollow performative utterances ('hard working families', 'living in dangerous times' blah fucking blah). Burn it all down.

I think expired docs are ok if it is still a good likeness of you.

You need to get off the fence and say what you REALLY think

Seconded.

It really doesn't matter. Whoever you elect, you're just electing the figureheads of departments. It will still be the same civil servants and staff continuing their same agenda (feather my nest at all costs).

My close friend was diary secretary to Ken Livingstone, Boris and Rishi. He left because when he joined he genuinely thought he could make a difference. He soon realised that he couldn't. But he stuck at it.

He's seen some shit in Number 10 that he will never tell me about. A lot of it about Boris.

He's now a Baptist Minister. He thought he could help people better that way.

This is why people don't vote. Because as much as we think it will, it won't make a difference. Starmer heading up this shower of shit civil service will be no different if you, I or Paula Vennells does.

It's all shit and we're all fucked. Happy Thursday 😂
