2014 Elections: Urban Exit Poll

Who did you vote for in the 2014 European and Local Elections?

  • Total voters
    165
  • Poll closed .
I wonder how many people dissing the folk that voted Green know what their policies are.

I didn't just vote for them for the sandals and the global warming, although I do like an open toe.
After they got wiped out in Ireland because they couldn't implement their policies while in government and because they were irrelevant to working class interests, and because they were shit, some of them went and made really bad pop music.

I think it's quite a good system, as it gives you a bit of a say every year, and can allow some representation of opinion on an annual basis without being too disruptive (unless the council is hung or finely balanced).

yeah round here we have 3, with a 4 year cycle - one up each year for 3 years and on the 4th there's no election (we had that last year)

No local elections for me. I spoiled for the Euros. I had some witty remarks to say but was very quiet in my polling station with only me, one booth and three returning officers. The fact I was standing there for longer than usual coupled with the loud sound of my scribbling pencil meant it was probably obvious I was spoiling, so instead I just wrote either racist, tory or low fat tory next to the suitable parties then scurried out of there!

Am about to go and vote Labour in the Euro in the hope of helping them take the Lib Dems one seat in the
SW
No council vote but crossing my fingers for a Lib Dem crash in Bristol and that the smug anti-working class, anti-Bristol Greens get hammered.

I'm voting for the most likely to succeed who's actually pro-europe - so in the SW with 4 tories, 1 UKIP, 1 LD and 1 Labour MEP it's Graham Watson LD, followed by Glyn Ford Labour ... do we get a third choice ? If so that'll be Molly Scott Cato (Green).
I could be persuaded to vote Labour as first preference...

You only get one vote. And the Liberals are going to lose their seat, so fuck 'em.

You get one vote, the Libs are going to lose and Ford is second on the Labour list so he won't get elected

So Labour would be a good bet ?
We're up against Climate Denier Monckton in the SW - gawd 'elp us ...
more likely to beat off one of the Tories or UKIPers. Could get two elected (Ford is second on the list, Clare Moody is almost certain to get one seat for Labour)

I'm just back from voting. I voted for the 'I'm going to get drenched' party. I couldn't find my umbrella and duly got drenched.

like emanymton I'm disgusted by the number of sandal wearing humus eating greens on here.

But sandals are very practical to slip into for wandering around the house, and give a bit more protection than slippers if you were to step on a bit of cassandrs's Brio train set.

Do spoiled ballots get counted as such?
Here is how my local ward records spoiled votes:

A want of an official mark
B voting for more Candidates than voter was entitled to
C writing or mark by which voter could be identified
D being unmarked or wholly void for uncertainty
E rejected in part
