2014 Elections: Urban Exit Poll

Who did you vote for in the 2014 European and Local Elections?

  • Total voters
    165
  • Poll closed .
i don't think im even registered to vote round here, im not sure going back to my home town to do so is really worth it :(

should be a private poll...

No one else's business who people voted for.
you know that you're not forced to complete this poll right? if you don't want to tell people who you voted for then don't.
personally I don't like the secret ballot. if people are gonna elect someone who's gonna shit on us they should at least be subject to public scrutiny and have the guts to defend their decision.

name and adress, that way the coup goes easier

locals: TUSC (the candidate in my ward is a kind of communist godlike figure)

euros: NO2EU (Mary Jackson is on the list, women against pit closures and all round hero)

I went and voted with my 14 month old, we walked to the polling station at a snails pace and she posted the ballots for me. I voted green for both local and Euro elections, I was unable to detect any voting preference from her, unless of course there is an Ah-Di-daah party. The voting people were very friendly, but that might have been down to being in the company of a very smiley toddler.

*eta* the local election ward was Streatham Wells, were TUSC not standing here? I couldn't see 'em on the ballot paper (I am very sleep deprived at the moment though).

I also thought that what a lot of splinter anti Euro parties. A few UKIP votes will go missing that way I suspect. I voted green in both btw.

Some of yous have loads more candidates in your local elections than here

I think cities and large towns generally do. Population density ennit, more people there are, more fringe parties.

Personally I'm torn between no2eu or whichever flavour of the Elvii Party is running this time.

locals: Labour

euro: There were no decent lists this time so I went Labour for that as well.

ETA: just been reminded of the National Health Action Party in the euros, I could voted for them

I wonder how many people dissing the folk that voted Green know what their policies are.

I didn't just vote for them for the sandals and the global warming, although I do like an open toe.

The fact that they actually outlined what their polices were, was why I voted for them. I'd go the other way, how can people who voted otherwise know what they were voting for. Voting Labour won't stop Mr Clegg getting chocolate biscuits.

Green in EU election, 1 vote for Green and 2 for Labour in Council elections (It is currently a LibDem ward).

Lots of councils have three seats per ward, with one councillor up each year and all up on the fourth year.

I'm in London, we don't have that system here. I think that's just councils outside London.London boroughs only elect all the council every three years.
