XL Bully dog - discussion

I've been bitten three times in my life by a dog. On each occasion I could have jsut about put the bloody thing int my jacket pocket. Small dogs are more bitey than big ones IMO.

i'm kinda like that as known people who have been bitten by small dogs as kids

but its the force and outcome of the bite with some breeds

my aunt and her son got a xl bully when the should not of and all they report is dog walkers avoid them
because their pup gots for the neck and throat during play

even when its in dog training each week

doggo are lovely but the first reaction from a beastie

fuck that and i've lived with collies and terriers for years

Going for the neck is not play! What the fuck

Is dogs were guns, which they seem to be a replacement for somewhat.

A Yorke is a one shot kids nerf
Collie is a rapid fire nerf on low power
Bla bla bla
Xl bullies are a grenade launcher. Sure it can be safe but only disarmed and not pointed at anyone.

Not according to the lab cross I had. He loved to be chased or chase, so to get other dogs to chase him he'd snap at the side of their neck (he never actually touched any of them) and turn and run. He would even do it to strange rotties and dobermans.

I read dog walkers, which to me meant they were going for their necks. Which is a bit different to snapping near another dog.

Yeh missing the point when I was talking about attacking necks v not injuring anything.
My lab could be misconstrued as going for the neck if you didn't know him. Your first post was "going for the neck is not play" which is exactly what it was with my lab.

The Dog Control Coalition – which is made up of the RSPCA, Battersea, Blue Cross, the Dogs Trust, the British Veterinary Association, the Scottish SPCA, the Kennel Club and Hope Rescue – have opposed a ban on the breed and said they were “deeply concerned about the lack of data behind this decision”.13 hours ago

I looked for an RSPCA statement on XL Bully Dogs and this is what I found.
