Kemi Badenoch discussion

Is that still a thing? It hasn't happened to me yet or to any of my friends, some of whom are approaching 80.

We're the generation who saw the damage the Tories did under Thatcher as young(ish) adults, I wonder if that makes a difference? Although thinking about it, my parents never voted Tory either.
it also relied on those in their 40s and 50s being financially secure with their house on a trajectory to be paid off and their offspring able to get on the property ladder with minimal support

Sure I heard someone on the radio suggest whoever wins will be the leader of the tory party for the next five years. Yeeeeaaaahhhh... :D

Once he loses, Jenrick will presumably fuck off to the Farage Party and take twenty or so MPs with him.

I'm disappointed that your "friends working in politics" haven't given you any insider tips for this.
How would they given its 100,000 members voting...? It's one thing to get an insight into a 100 MPs - who are all big mouths gossiping away - and quite another to aggregate sources across 100s of Tory constituencies and their members.
