Ukraine and the Russian invasion, 2022-24

i think the journalists rate themselves too highly if they think press coverage will save kherson
Some good anti-aircraft and counter-fire batteries would be far better - most people already know that the russians are bombing / shelling the "right" bank areas - although, as usual, they go - mainly - for civilian facilities, like schools, hospitals and the like. [that's based on my reading of the livemap updates] e2a not just Kherson, they also attack Nikipol regularly / frequently.
And even better would be boats & pontoon bridges, plus all the other support needed to allow the Ukrainian army to open an additional front by crossing the Dnipro ...

Trying this again. Gerashchenko's shining light on what seems to be an expanding global presence theme from Putin. Russia won't be satisfied with what they control of Ukraine even if a peace deal has to be agreed upon.

and what, exactly was the target of military significance in Groza ????
Apparently even a soldier's funeral counts as a military target for Russia. Apparently at least one living soldier was also present, along with a 6-year-old boy who could potentially have grown up to be a soldier

Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said every household was affected in the village: "From every family, from every household, there were people present". Interfax Ukraine reported that the funeral was for a Ukrainian soldier. His widow, son - also a soldier - and daughter-in-law were among those killed, the outlet quoted local prosecutor Dmytro Chubenko as saying.

Still, attacking a funeral / memorial service is a disgusting thing to do ...

If anything, IMO, this sort of attack will probably only stiffen the Ukrainian resolve to fight on.

Although the accuracy level was interesting compared to people claiming that similar weapons missed their "military" target when missiles were hitting supermarkets etc in previous attacks.
