Also there isn't an A&E department within 1 mile of Streatham High Road. Both are several miles away.
I'm sure you're right...but every minute must have seemed like an hour...for all concerned; how desperate.Probably traffic. With the High Rd blocked off it was chaos.
It will be St Georges in Tooting I'd have though, they have A&E and a Major Trauma unit. Also there isn't an A&E department within 1 mile of Streatham High Road. Both are several miles away.
That said, people are always under the misconception that ambulances come from hospitals...... They don't.

Kings too is a major trauma centre so they may have gone there, also has a helipad im not sure Georges does.

One eyewitness report says that a woman cyclist was attacked by this shithead.
I heard on the radio it followed a car chase so I expect those chasing him were also tracking him. There seemed to be a lot of plain clothes, armed cops on the scene very quickly. At least 3 in that vid and another on the news. Were they tracking him perhaps?

Yeah that seems logical. Getting through the traffic in London on a bike is a lot easier and probably not as suspect.Mobile surveillance officers from security service use motorbikes quite a lot I think. And does look like under active watching, those cops carrying bags with weapons and the baseball caps they put on for ID when incidents happen.
Reports are one man & two women were injured, not sure why one was a cyclist is important.
or that she was a woman?
Heads will rollBeing reported he was under active surveillance
