Rugby World Cup 2023

Fairly routine win for Les Bleus in the end. Scoreline reminded me of a Wales - AB one. Early endeavour led to the inevitable imposition of a game plan and superior physicality with inevitable results. Fairy Dancers miles off being a world cup winning side atm

Italy vs Namibia starting :) I thought it'd be good because with only say one match a day I'll get other stuff done during the day. Four today and three tomorrow  Next are Thursday and Friday though and only one match each.

Will be interested to see what the tactics are like if the big teams can get bogged down in kicking game and running into solid defenders.

Mind you I thought New Zealand wingers were underused last night - a couple of times at least they were stood on their own on the wing.

Eta: Namibia get first score  good passing moves so far

hangibg out with royal stop mentioned it before someone start a thread and urban not appreciating royal hangers on appear at the rugby

Not a fan of the ITV studio with the whole 360 degree CGI “Paris” backdrop. Is it me or is it all just a bit trite this stuff?

Now with added Flats though

Some utter bollocks inspirational talk from the commentator. I just hope we don't make the mistake we made against Ukraine - passing it to and from across the back four with no movement up front

Bloody hell, a yellow before five minutes have gone, and it could yet be a red??

Thank goodness Argentina are one of the 'making up the numbers' minnow teams, eh?

:hmm:

Neither of them were looking at the player they were colliding with, although I'm not sure whether that's good or bad.

hmm do have to worry about a team meeting who upon getting an extra man advantage immediately get a red card
