Love Nika the Georgian ref so much. He is number one in the world for me.

Hopefully he’ll get a lions test and would be my first choice for a World Cup final though it may be that it goes to one of the kiwi refs who are just below him in ranking but probably a bit older!

I know they're trying to blood refs from minor nations but fucking hell. Teach them the rules.

Actually, watching a kiwi feed here. The commentators (rightly) saying the on field ref is not in control, its all coming from the TMO. Surely they should defer to the guy on the field?

I’ve not watched much of the second half so may have missed a bit.

I felt the TMO was getting in the way a bit in the other matches this weekend, feels like a common theme, so presumably the latest world rugby directive to fuck the game up

France deserved that. New Zealand had loads of possession and did nothing with it. They must have turned over their own ball 20 times. Beauden Barrett was very poor with the ball in hand.

Tbh the Eng-SA match was the first one that wasn't great quality (and only Italian commentators!)
