Police have given a number of over 300,000 people at the march today.

I went out to watch the first marchers go past Vauxhall Bus Station at about 2pm and - with a couple of instances when the crowd thinned for a few minutes - the march has filled the north side of the Vauxhall gyratory ever since then. More than a few people have been joining the march here, too. The BLM marches that went past here a couple of years ago were big, but this is far bigger than them.

If those quotes I posted on the other thread are accurate, I imagine the next conversation between Deputy Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor and Assistant Commissioner Matt Twist must be pretty interesting. Seems this week we've had tories falling out with tories, tories falling out with the met, and presumably at least a bit of the met must be falling out with each other behind closed doors?

As we've been reporting, about 82 counter-protesters have been arrested today near the huge pro-Palestinian march in London, police say.
