To see it's not only the dogs at wrong.....you have the option to acknowledge it goes on or not.Why post that at all?

On the grounds that owning a dog is more responsibility than the majority seem to be able to actually handle, maybe the answer is to only allow ownership of a dog once you have passed a rigorous testing procedure. Akin to the driving test, only this one would be a rigorous testing procedure.
Maths onesWhat tests would people need to do to avoid compulsory sterilisation at 12 years of age?
Doesn’t this undermine your original point about banning ‘dangerous’ dogs rather than punishing/deterring dangerous irresponsible dog owners?Another woman killed on Saturday in Kirkdale, mauled to death by five border collies.
Last week a court case concerning a woman who suffered life-changing injuries after being attacked by an airedale terrier.
Border Collies?I just checked and all the dogs involved were actually American bulldog derivatives.
Border Collies?
The article says it was a cross bull mastiff which is a slightly different proposition to an airedale terrier.Another woman killed on Saturday in Kirkdale, mauled to death by five border collies.

I don’t know that there is much debate to be had here. Some think that some dog breeds should be illegal. Others think that trying to make specific breeds illegal isn’t practically feasible. But (while I could be mistaken) I don’t think anybody here thinks that owning one of these dogs is a good thing.10 of the 13 people killed by dogs in the UK since March 2020 were killed by American XL bully bulldog mastiff things.
In the 2 years prior to 2020 there were only 4 deaths (all bulldog things).
Why is it lawful to keep animals designed to entertainingly kill bears and bulls as family pets

There’s a lot of money to be made these days in breeding American bullies and suchlike. I mean proper silly money if you can get a big ole litter each year for virtually no work at all . Only downside is mauling of family members. Headlines are about deaths but the amount of attacks in some areas mean taking your pooch got a walk is a risky business. The owners are usually twats interestingly
