What's in your glass?

Friend at work gave me a bottle of bison grass vodka today. Recommended me to drink it with apple juice. Will try later, though not sure how much juice to add... I'm guessing it's less than the usual mixer amount?

My favourite local tipple:

As much or as little as you like. It's gorgeous. Nice recipes here, too Zubrowka
Personally I like it with just ice.

Attempted to have a pint of this in my local last night, but the barrel went just as he was pouring it.
I ended up with a Timothy Taylor's Landlord instead so not too much of a disaster.
Yeah I really like it. It's very hoppy so not to everyone's taste but it's a good light, refreshing one. It's the one I aim for after a good walk. Funnily enough, Landlord is the other beer I've got lined up for this evening.

I'm dipping into the 2011 St Emilion and I probably should have drunk it sooner - some acidic fruit has replaced some of the mustiness that I found so appealing - still makes a change from Aldi's cheap Pinot Noir.

Warka radler - sort of shandy but replacing lemonade with concentrated apple juice. Confusingly, you can taste a hint of mint as a back note, although there's none in the ingredients.

Dry sloe gin. I decided to make it with no sugar this year, apparently it absorbs the flavour better (sugar to be added towards the end)... Being a bit pissed already I though I'd sample it as is. Surprisingly good, given the mouth-puckering sourness of the fruit. It doesn't have the syrup/liquor texture of the normal version of course, but might make a good cocktail ingredient.

Adnam's Ghost Ship. Been really enjoying my pale ales recently. Only a quid a can at Tesco's atm if you buy in bulk and a very refreshing drop.

Yeah I've been on that of late... good all round refreshing stuff. Nice background citrus note without overdoing the hops. Extremely quaffable.

Is that any good Voley ? Saw it in tezzers a few weeks back and wondered if it might be worth a try, even though i had decided on my favourite spiced a while ago and that trying anythin new was singing to a dead part of me. :hmm:

First time I've tried it. Early days right now. I quite like it because - let's face it, it's rum - but it's a bit vanilla-ey for me neat, I think. Nice mixed though. I bought it from Tesco, too. Fiver off atm.

Which spiced one do you go for? I used to really like Sailor Jerry but I swear they changed it and it went a bit weird.

They did change it, and they pointed it out somewhere (possibly somewhere).

I go for O'Hara's spiced
