Kind of. But I don’t think it’s a bad thing to have access to both - that’s a lot of potential coffee and other drinks (hot chocolate, etc) to choose from.
I did pick up some (paper based) nespresso style pods from Pact in the holiday sale - I’m already subscribing so thought fuck it, they’ll do for when I go to ceramics studio rather than spending cash on coffee.
Quite strong as well, I think they are actual espresso strength
I don't get the point. I think the coffee is a step up from instant, so appreciate it if it's available, but the pods seem expensive compared to real coffee and the machines more expensive the a cafetiere, stove top or aero press, which all make better coffee.

I don’t know what ground coffee costs per cup, but the L’Or brand nespresso capsules I use cost me 15p each from the local supermarket when on offer (which is the only time I buy them).
Is that too expensive for the ease of putting a capsule in the machine, pressing a button and having a nice cup of coffee ready in 20 secs or so?

My beans were delivered personally by the roaster on Monday - it costs me 84p for a full mug of strong coffee (22g of beans, 1 minute to grind, 1 minute to brew) - fairtrade, single estate.
The grinder and AP cost me £50 in 2011 - so 1p per day - though it's probably doubled in price since then.
I've rarely had coffee elsewhere and it was always rubbish.
