Coffee making accessories for the coffee wanker in your life

ooops think I have my wires crossed. Just googled the price of an aeropress and it’s not the thing I was thinking of. I thought they cost a couple of hundred or more and were about the size of a breadmaker. Two people I know have them. I wonder what they are :D :oops:

OK, in fairness the reviews seem ok and I might have given one a go as second device.

That said I've had my first aeropress years, and it's still going strong, so I don't think they're bad value. The second one I bought recently came with a bag of decent coffee, which made it even cheaper.

I thought the Aeropress was overpriced for a bit of plastic, but I saw those ones on Aliexpress, and the price seemed much more realistic/reasonable.
I might buy one and leave it at my mother's, as she doesn't do proper coffee, and I can't drink instant muck.

Sounds like the bean to cup machines. Add beans and water, push button, get espresso. I appreciate the simplicity straight out of bed.

No, these have capsules that look a bit like the ones that jelly stocks come in
