What's in your glass?

That's strange. By a coincidence I was drinking Chardonnay last night. I had gone into my local for a pint of beer but it was not quite up to scratch so I changed to white wine. It was fine.
I used to love it, but find these days that it makes my teeth itch :(

Cotes du Rhone Villages 2011 - supermarket screwtop but has greatly improved for being carelessly stored for 5 years.
Shortly after buying quite a few bottles I changed my mind about it and thought I would have to give it away, but it's lovely now - after being opened a day or two - seriously fruity but with just enough tannin and acidity to give it a little character.

Pinot grigio, solo - fella's out playing a gig. I used to love getting drunk on my own, but it's nowhere near as much fun as it used to be.

It's a glugger ...£1 per 500ml can....drinks like a strong nuky brown

Just 4 and I'm Neil Armstrong , there, but without the rocket.. .........just cracked number two... tonight is gonna be a good night

In my glass is a pint of Molecule Of Life from Greene King. This pretentiousnessly named beer is slightly sweet and only 3.7 on the Richter scale so a good session beer. Never met it before. Nice one.

Don't knock it 'til you've tried it. It's a variation on cream soda and milk. :D

Half fill your glass or mug with properly cold milk, then top up with pepsi or coke. Don't do it the other way around as the proteins in the milk will curdle.

A bottle of The Exhibisionist. A delightful South Australian Merlot that i have fallen in love with recently. Im celebrating getting through my probationary period at work.

Still the 2011 Chevalier de La Tour St Emilion - yummy - I think I paid £8 ... I see they're selling the 2012 for £10 by the 6 bottles ..

I still think it's lost something by being laid down for 5 years - a little of the "mouldy" complexity so I would love to get my hands on more bottles of younger wine ...

Dunkertons Black Fox cider. 7%. Nicer than the medium sweet one I had the other day, that had a different name.

Rum, lime, bitters and ginger beer. I had forgotten how good a drink this is. And how warm and fuzzy and mellow it makes me feel
