Yeah, but you’re only saying that cos you’re a computer nerd who thinks of such things as collections of components rather than thinking of them as a whole. Which is why I, a word nerd, assumed a case was a separate thing, rather than just a bit of a computer.

There is no ivory tower position from me at all, everything I've explained is very basic science and terminology, and I have gone out of my way to explain it in an understandable way so that anyone who comes to it knowing nothing can learn a bit about it. That is the OPPOSITE of ivory tower.
