Anyways, I was watching it live. The senate won't impeach most likely, but it's still not a good look for the tangerine.

Trump is already Impeached, the Senate has no say in it. The Senate basically now hold a trial to decide what the punishment is for the Impeachment. They will choose to do nothing. Impeachment has happened and there is nothing anybody can do to reverse that. The only role for the Senate is in deciding whether or not the behaviour rises to the standard requiring removal from office.

That's very likely. By all traditional measures (stock market & unemployment rate) the economy is doing well and the US isn't bogged down in a war (except Afghan) and Trump will probably find some "deal" with the Taliban to allow a face saving withdrawal. Saw a podcast recently where Michael Moore thinks Trump will not participate in debates with the
Dem. nominee. Why should he? He has nothing to gain and everything to lose. He'll likely simply hold endless rallies with his rabid supporters and the media will slavishly cover them because they are so entertaining.
