I swear I saw a quote from Prigoshin a few days ago which pretty much said that they hadn’t seen a Leopard Tank yet in Ukraine ?

Doubt they’ll be anywhere near the front yet. They’ll be building up a brigade/armoured division rather than dropping them isolated near the front. Logistics work better if deployed as a group, and they’ve not had that many delivered yet.

It's not a threat to other tanks, but the majority of vehicles involved are not tanks and it can pose a very serious threat to any of those that don't mount an ATGM to ward them off.

Indeed. We were talking about it on another thread and the consensus is that a tank is still a tank and no one wants a tank coming towards them unless you are in a much bigger newer tank. They’re still tanks!

Russia still pushing out clumsily faked propaganda, in this case Ukrainian troops harassing and frightening a women in a car with a young child and threatening them for speaking Russian. Only problem is the video has been geolocated to 30km behind the front line on the Russian side, and loads of other details aren’t quite right.

The video in question has also been posted on Twitter by the MFA Russia account (official gov account). They actually scared a child for this. Kind of pathetic.

I really think Raheem had it right when he observed (to paraphrase) that Russia is engaged in performance art, they don't actually care whether anyone believes it or not and they're daring people to call them out on it.

Tbf the government account deleted the tweet. It was also being called out by Russian war bloggers etc. too, that’s how clumsy and self-defeating it was.

There’s been quite a few of these, another recent one had Ukrainian troops doing something to a Koran (in an attempt to enrage the Islamic caucuses), only they were using a Russian-issued knife and wearing Russian Army boots amongst other clumsy giveaways.
