31,000 killed will mean between 2 and 13 times that number wounded plus a number taken prisoner. So total 'casualties' could be up to 400,000 although more probably between 150,000 to 200,000.

The updated UN report says 10,582 Ukrainian civilians have been killed and 19,875 injured since the start of the war. Figures include 587 children killed and 1298 injured.

That fits the narrative. Injuries should be 5-10x the number of deaths. Higher on the Ukrainian side as we've documented evidence Russia leaves injured behind if it's too much faff. It doesn't make 31,000 improbable at all. Most of this war has been artillery battles that very much lean more towards injuries than deaths. The only sure-fire deaths are something landing right on top of you, or being in a vehicle that gets lit up.
