Pickman's model knows that your post covers a huge topic worthy of its own thread. And he may have, like myself, almost responded but then thought, "hmm, let me think about this some more". :D:p

To your post, the answer I'd say is yes, all of those things. There's so much intertwined with what Putin is doing and what Russia is doing and who Russia is, as in who is doing it. It's a question for a thread that will go on and on once somebody pulls the trigger. :)

Almost certainly no other country will send troops, it would be too much a risk to escalate the war IMO. Hence the above...
