Convincing win from Tom Pidcock at the cross country mountain biking. Wonder if it would have played out that way if Van Der Poel hadn't crashed out. Pidcock did look really strong.

Women’s Elite was fun to watch. Similar to the men’s even. Felt for CULudwig, wondered if she could’ve got silver if she’d gone harder just after the last corner.

I also got my first exposure to both artistic cycling and cycleball. The former is fucking bonkers; the second quite good fun. Not as good as wheelchair rugby though.

I don't think it was a BMX, but a fixie. It was done on what looked like a converted basketball court.

Must admit I can never get that enthusiastic about a race with Roglic in it but now Jumbo have also brought Vinge it's a pretty foregone conclusion that they'll strangle it.
Here's hoping Enric Mas or Remco somehow manage to fool them but also keep something back for Il Lombardia.

Not normally that interested in the Vuelta but I'll be paying a bit more attention as a kid we gave work experience to a few years ago (and whose dad is a long term customer) is riding his first grand tour. Sean Flynn, rides for DSM. Hopefully he'll make it through the whole thing

What’s the point of a twisty team TT course? You want long straights, sweeping bends, all at 60kph, not that bollocks, and that’s before you even get to the silly start time meaning some teams were riding around in the dark.
