We ARE jab buddies! This time round my arm batters and has done from early on but other than that I'm devastated to report I'm perfectly fine and therefore going to work.
I think I spoke too soon - woke up at 3:30am drenched in sweat and shaking, now aching all over and still felling feverish, sitting in my home office in my pants emailing colleagues to offload my urgent deadlines onto them before I can go back to bed. This is fun.

:(

i didn't get the feverishness with second AZ, but have felt somewhere between midly and very crap since

I believe my local centre is starting so walk ups for second jabs, currently only AZ for over 40s.

Hope they add it for Pfizer under 40s in due course

My back problems which manifested just over a week or so after having the first jab and were getting slowly better have flared up massively since the second one last Thursday, dont think the 2 are really related but I do wonder a little.

2nd jab yesterday at 2pm
woke up at 4am feeling like i was coming up on it
decide to go and pee and get some paracetamol.
managed to pee and pick up a wash bag with pills in it
next thing i was trying to remember who i was
and where i was
....turns out i was on the floor of the kitchen and id slipped unconscious
ive only a small kitchen and its a miracle i didnt face plant into some furniture
i did mash my cheek against the floor tiles though. i think i managed to put my arm out to some extent though i dont remember doing it
looks like im going to have a bit of a shiner coming through

still pretty out of it now, shivers and aches etc, but have regained the ability to type and look at urban, so cant be that bad
day in bed beckons

top tip: dont go walking about when the vaccine kicks in!

im so sick of all this covid shit

Painful lower back and pelvis was my worst side effect both times, so they might be.

They are doing 2nd jabs as walk ups now at my local centre. I was the first person to have a walk up jab!

I had a headache and 24 hours of being tired and under the weather from the first. Gave me a headache within the first hour... But so far, so good with this one.
Aching arm, neck and shoulders and feeling slightly tired, but no big deal. Not as bad as the first.

Went to docs and physio this morning, actually told them my concerns , doc said he couldn’t rule it out and physio said due to my mum having really bad back issues that she could see where I was coming from and to keep watch then gave me shit loads of really powerful pain killers , which I hope isn’t the answer, and they aint working yet.

ETA 2 x naproxen and 3 x codeine actually do the job, no pain for the most part and I feel pretty high which is an unexpected bonus

Day 3, still feel wiped out and foggy. My lovely colleagues have taken on all my work and I've done nothing at all today between taking the boy to school and picking him up again. This is rubbish.

I should've had it this week but the GP still hasn't bothered recording my first one yet so I have fallen down the back of the sofa. They have had the details for weeks so I don't know understand why it is so hard for them to submit it or whatever. Quite pissed off with them now but resisting the urge to go and shout at the receptionist.

A few centres down here are doing walk in but not for second Pfizer.

Up in Berkshire loads of second Pifzer around. But two mates up there have had Moderna and can’t get their second jab due to no supplies.

Naturally lots of 2nd Moderna down here. Seems a bit disjointed to say the least

Just doing my 15 mins wait after 2nd Pfizer. Moved my appointment forward by nearly 3 weeks once they made it so you could check what's available before rebooking, but needn't have worried, there were loads. I figured this way I'm covered before Magic Freedom Day 0.2 and also before summer hols. Wouldn't be wildly surprised if I do manage to catch the bugger before this beds in though, given I have two kids in school.
