Line-up has been supposedly leaked to NME.com. According to them, it'll look something like this:
It's been ripped from Q.
It's accurate by all accounts, but not complete by any means, nor necessarily correct concerning the order of acts either.
I'm not too fussed. My worst beef is with the likely clash between Massive Attack and Buddy Guy (not on the above list) on the Saturday. When the whole caboodle is released officially at midnight tomorrow --ie a minute after 23:59 Tuesday 29th, it would seem, rather than a day later as previously thought -- then we'll get the complete and full pricture including most of the smaller stages ...
There's a lot of petulant whingeing elsewhere, today, about the lineup being 'shit' this year and how 'Eavis' should sort it out. What most of these lineup obsessed fuckers fail to appreciate is that what's known from these early leaks, and on previous rumours, is only incomplete. And that if they can't be open/flexible enough to get away from the main stages and if they're too lazy to wander about at times and check out new/unknown stuff on unfamiliar stages and at random, they probably shouldn't be at Glastonbury ...
And another thing ... people who crap on about how 'Eavis' should do this, how 'Eavis' should sort that out, how 'Eavis' is 'shit' because he hasn't booked MY FAVOURITE ACT!!!1!!!!1!!, they're as immature (as 'Dogburger' elsewhere pointed out) as football fans demanding the manager's sacking after a couole of indifferent results.
Comment like I have on the above lines though, and you'll be accused of being an uncritical Glastonbury worshipper who can't deal with any criticism whatsoever and who wonpt hear of the possibility that 'Saint Eavis' is in any way wrong and who's 'intolerent' of any criticism of their beloved festival .... for objecting to/correcting particular factual errors in inaccurate ill informed virulent shite.
You are in a monothought clique in fact ...
