Me too :)

Will be taking this and a debit card for any unforeseen cash emergency.

Both will fit under my hat :D

I know too, you just think you do :p

I want some new camping stuff for this year - what should I get?

Does anyone know anything about when the PASS Hologram was introduced into passports?? Or indeed what the hell the Pass hologram is?

AFAIK it isn't on Passports, but mine's about to run out, so maybe it's happened and I just don't know it. :D

But for the purposes of Glasto, the CitizenCard isn't the only type of ID card acceptable. Any "government approved photo ID bearing the PASS hologram", is fine. The hologram is about the same size as the ones used on credit cards and in about the same place (at least in blueslet's case it is) and presumably there for the same reason as Credit Card ones.... Touts might be tempted to forge passports, but less likely to do that than forge any old ID card, so the PASS hologram at least minimises that risk. :)

Given a forged passport, is currently worth £3000-£5000 I doubt a tout is going to waste one on Glastonbury tickets.

Heading to glastonbury for the first time this year. I've been to quite a few other festivals- Reading/Leeds, Witness/Oxegen and a few smaller affairs but every1 tells me Glastonbury is different.

In what way? Any advice for a Glasto virgin?

I did This FAQ / Picture Guide to the festival on the official Glasto Website. Hope to update it with the latest info shortly but it should give you a flavour of what to expect & answer most of your questions.

There are something like 110 photos on the page so it may take a while to download if you are on narrowband.

Yep, one room still available, although I'll more than likely leave it as an "emergancy" crash space for munted peeps :D

i've got a shocking hangover and may be forced to give glastonbury a miss

:D Funnily enough, I spent the night with my best/worst drinking pal last night and she's coming to Glasto with me too - don't think I can handle 3 days (daughter has A levels) feeling like this either ;)

Bloody hell, if you haven't got our emails and moblies by now then I dispair! :p :D

I even put my moby publicly on offer on the glasto 2003 thread, thinking it's worth the risk of having to buy a new phone, to get random peeps together on the day.

Anyway will email you pronto sorry guv <tips hat>
