Also bought 4 pillows today as mine are pretty pathetically soft. And I hope these will be more supportive. Considering keeping the old ones, not sure what I’d do with them but don’t want to add to the landfill sites if I can avoid it.
Put covers on them and use them as sofa cushions? If the covers are a bit small it plumps the pillow/cushion up.

No pets sadly, don’t know anyone with them either. I’ll find a use for them at home. If I buy a place with another bedroom I’ll need the pillows then I suppose.

If you can't find any use for them and have draughty chimneys, stick them up there.

I had a very old sleeping bag, stuffed it in a bin liner and wedged it up the small chimney in the study over the winter.

Ordered some new plates from Marks. Not very exciting, but I've broken a few of the existing ones so need to get more.

Has this chair re-upholstered which I forgot to take a before photo off!

The before was a rough check fabric , the chair has no sentimental value to me as I inherited it but it was an office chair in the 80s & been with me for years mainly in a bedroom. It was also bent to one side so that’s been sorted , new cushions , new fabric & powder coating on the chrome

Yeah my mate who had an airfrier said he ate loads of chips and put on loads of weight :D I have a deep fat frier but I only do fresh food or stuff ive made myself in it (ok I lie, I battered some sausages and an eccles cake the other day.... nawwwwty). No excuse not to make your own chips!!

Im trying to sort our my room as ive moved and got fuck all decent furniture. Been looking on freecycle a lot and im getting some old but nice stuff my parents have spare. Cant wait to change the curtains for some long thick blue velvet style ones not crappy thin synthetic rubbish.

2BC169E0-B5CD-4556-B92E-3657691E0C80.jpegWe’ve ordered a new bed. I can’t find a picture of the actual one as it’s now sold out. Sort of like this but no drawers and all white.
Mr Looby seemed quite pleased about it until he remembered it needs assembling. What a happy Saturday it’ll be for all involved. :D

I really want to have a pax like storage system for clothes which covers both alcoves and the chimney breast but we’re struggling to get this without spending shitloads for custom built. I think we might have found some doors for about £650 but again the thought of having to fit them is causing big anxiety and I definitely can’t do either on my own even if I wasn’t a cackhanded twat.

My chip consumption has gone from very rarely to a couple of times a week since I got my airfryer

We definitely ate more chips to start with but it did wear off. We don’t use the airfryer much now. There’s just no room to have it on the counter and it gets forgotten about in the dining room cupboard.

Yeah, I need to find somewhere to put the slow cooker now - used a few times at first, and not since.

Not like, the most amazing of tripod lamps but considering we were out looking for a shower curtain, it all turned out rather well!

Spotted a grey one for £18 having been £180 so though it's worth a shot. Was told it was broken (lamp holder cracked), said I wasn't bothered but was asked if I was interested in the black or white one instead but I said grey is best for us and got a further 20% due to the breakage.

Didn't realise it came with a shade, thought it was just the legs, being so cheap. The black and the white were also reduced to that price so I thought fuck it! I'll take the lot :D

Then, the white scanned at 9 FUCKING QUID!!!

Shade is wonky due to cracked lamp holder, which a replacement for is arriving tomorrow ;)
Also needs a lower wattage lamp.

Floor Lamp Classy, Black
