oops
Thank goodness there's self-proclaimed 'truth seekers' like you to shine a light into the darkness and reveal the 'real story' via a load of dodgy articles written on dodgy websites written by book flogging charlatans!Raisin D'etre said:Hi Dr J! Yes it is funny, weird. Its the head-in-the-sand syndrome for some, and others, just dont give a damn and are happy to trade in lies.
Again: why do you think so few people believe your oft-repeated version of events?Raisin D'etre said:Provide proof of the dodgy writers before you start spouting off so ignorantly. Karen Kwiatoski who worked for Pentagon intelligence and who has written articles and given interviews is far from dodgy. So is Ralph Schoenman. None of what has been written here by myself is conjecture, however much you want to portray it as such and you expose your own dodginess. Sorry, ed. I wondered how long it would take you to come and stamp all over this thread. It's a record for you. Go read the Project for a New American Century then comment but until you do so, your word is mud!
Oft repeated? Show me one thread where I have said this! Are you stupid. And you for sure have got your head up somewhere the sun never shines!editor said:Again: why do you think so few people believe your oft-repeated version of events?
Are they all stupid?
Have they all got their "head in the sand"?
A straight answer would be nice.
Is it really so hard to answer such a straight question?Raisin D'etre said:Oft repeated? Show me one thread where I have said this! Are you stupid. And you for sure have got your head up somewhere the sun never shines!

Well actually, most people are too afraid to say what they think on urban, its not like it used to be. You seem to have a particular interest in preventing any kind of discussion occuring around 911 and the BBC. I wonder why? Everybody is waiting around for your cue and when you say the word "conspiraloon" they attack. That's what you have turned urban into. There used to be some great voices here but not anymore. Ask yourself why? I start this thread and I get one person immediately saying he is going to unsubscribe from the "fantasy" thread, another refers to this as a "lizard" thread. Thats your grand work - people are afraid because you as the grand purveyor of profanity are going to swear, stamp your feet and humiliate those who try to bring the issues the media are refusing to discuss into the open.editor said:Again: why do you think so few people believe your oft-repeated version of events?

did you C&P it?

Is this true, editor? I think we should be told.invisibleplanet said:It's the new editor-bot, didn't you know ? It's been set up to vent on certain key-words, whilst the real editor sups with a luscious chick in the hot-tub.
Geez, don't you guys know anything ?

If you think al Q is a myth, then I think you're deluded.
Oh grow up! Was I accusing urbanites of that? How can you be sure, stop putting words in my mouth. There's been quite a vigorous debate on this subject so far - no thanks to you.editor said:Is it really so hard to answer such a straight question?
Ever since the glorious day you arrived on these boards, you've been insisting that you know the 'real truth' on a variety of subjects, but your opinions rarely seem to gather much support.
For the third time : why is that, do you think?
You've already made damning accusations about people suffering "head-in-the-sand syndrome*" with others "happy to trade in lies", so what makes you think you know the truth when so few people seem to agree with you?
You see, to some your attitude stinks of conceit and arrogance, but I'm sure you've got a reasonable explanation why barely a soul ever agrees with your pronouncements about what 'the truth' really is.
... haven't you?
(*got any names for these people, please?)
Thats because you dont say anything! You just try to bait people with wooden taunts. Stop deluding yourself, you have nothing to say!Johnny Canuck2 said:I don't have any problem saying what I think on urban.

invisibleplanet said:I think it was Richard Labeviere, the award winning Swiss Journalist who was the first journalist to write about 'Al Qaeda, the Mythic Enemy'.
The orginal article was featured in Le Figaro, November 2003 but no archive exists now, so here's a feature from portland indymedia
There you go again and Im glad you agree that they are wooden!Johnny Canuck2 said:Actually, I say lots of things. I only bait people like you with wooden taunts.
I gave up trying to actually say anything to conspiracy nuts and believers, a long time ago.

Mosnews is run by Russian Internet Guru, Anton Nossik (interesting Bio on Nossik:http://209.200.80.136/ojr/workplace/1017962263.php)Johnny Canuck2 said:It's about the source of the original report.
Raisin D'etre said:JC2 - You call me a conspiracy nut because you cant face the fact, and I remember that night clearly, how you and a certain other poster were gloating over shock and awe. You're still here. So am I. One of us didnt give a shit about the fact that tens of thousands of Iraqis were going to be killed - you definitely fall into that category of the people who don't give a damn that I mentioned earlier - and one of us remembers.
Johnny Canuck2 said:This may be true:
"Since September 11, 2001 the al-Qaeda label has surreptitiously slid from designating a criminal band with Bin Laden at their head, to specifying a high-tech organization, to finally qualifying a planetary network: al-Qaeda has "CNNized" itself, like the al-Jezira channel which serves its communications. Al-Qaeda is everywhere, therefore, nowhere. Just as the hidden Imam, Bin Laden, simultaneously dead and alive, is behind every unexplained bomb explosion"
...but that doesn't mean that Al Qaida doesn't exist.
invisibleplanet said:It used to be refered to as 'Bin Laden's organisation' in the official US Govt. reports I've read prior to 9-11. I couldn't state if the term had been used outside those documents though. Certainly, when Clinton was cruising Sudan and Afghanistan back in 1998, the term 'Al Qaeda' wasn't used.
Wooden JC2. Shock and Awe. 911. No connection for you? Thats what this thread is about. The connections. Sad people like you dont give a damn and then disingenuously pretend that there's a conspiracy underfoot when provided with the evidence.Johnny Canuck2 said:And this has what to do with your thread?
