Given that the Ukrainian communities in Canada, Australia and South Africa all drew from the same cesspit - post-war operations that gave places of safety to anti-Communists - I'm not too surprised. The UK, Canada and Aus had a similar problem with elements of the post-war Polish communities, who were for the most part avowedly hard right.

He’s hard at work pushing for new pipelines through Canada and the US to carry yet more oil out of Alberta’s tarsands, which is one of the greatest climate disasters on the planet.
