A Con/NDP coalition? Stranger things have happened. And there's precedent in Canadian history, if indirectly - the Progressive Conservative stuff, and Diefenbaker nicking health care off Tommy Douglas.

Singh has already said he would only form a coalition with the Liberals.

I have a concern with the polling.
I have been polled three times in two days.

Since it is a robocall, they can only reach landlines.
Not too many people have landlines these days.

I was going to answer that it was illegal.
People who have ditched the landlines say they never get robocalls.

But, after a quick google, I have found that I was wrong about my assumption.

CBC projecting a Liberal win - early results suggest another minority government with seat totals almost unchanged from previously. Mail-in votes might hold a few surprises but probably nothing on a scale to trigger any Trump-style meltdowns.
 
The result might have been a lot closer if the far-right, anti-vaxx "People's Party" hadn't siphoned the votes of about a million plague rats away from the Conservatives.

63 members of parliament voted against banning conversion therapy. 63 out of 117 conservative members said out loud with their votes that they do not care about the LGTBQ community. I know the Liberals are far from perfect but how anyone can vote conservative when close to 60% of them voted for hate is beyond me.

I’m going to vote NDP when i get citizenship (obviously). But that’s good news.

ETA: I have to say though that Canada should gently kick out the royal family (‘Royal Assent’ who gives a fuck what they think about). I was at a gig by The Silver Mount Zion Orchestra. Me and a Canadian buddy were literally at the back of the seated venue. Backs against the back wall. The vocalist goes ‘WHY DO WE STILL HAVE THAT HORSEY FACED BITCH ON OUR BANKNOTES????’. Although I completely agreed I was so tempted to stand up, put on my Estuary English voice on and yell ‘HOW DARE YOU SIR!!!!’ (From the absolute back with a hand gesture). I didn’t though but it’s one of those situations (just from a piss taking perspective) where I wished I’d had.

I like the NDP, too.

Did you see how well Trudeau is doing wrt cheaper daycare?
It is one of the NDP driven programs, so you must be happy to see that come together.

Bet is was mine, Ontario.

Doug Ford is an idiot and has no business being in the premier.
The only way he got in was riding on his death brother's name.

Regards Trudeau and the liberals and daycare. I view them like i view the liberals in the UK. Middling quislings.
