Right, so he claims the counting machines stole his votes, so they were recounted by hand, showing they hadn't, now he wants them recounted by machines again.

FFS, the signatures are in the outer envelopes, they are checked as being OK, then the inner envelope containing the ballot paper is passed to a different team for counting, because it's a bloody secret ballot, you can't later match signatures to the fucking ballot papers.

There also should be a record of which sigs have been matched, ticking that person off as having voted, and preventing them from voting twice. That on its own should deal with Trump's allegation that extra votes were added via the mail vote route.

At least that is how I imagine it is done.
