Wayne County has 2 Republican and 2 Democrat officers who have to sign off the results to be passed to the (state) board of electors for final certification.
The 2 Republicans said they weren't going to sign them off, possibly after personal intervention from one of the candidates.
Then they did anyway, after predictable outcry.
Then they tried to rescind it, possibly after further personal intervention from the same candidate. Nothing doing.
Then Rudy declared "This morning we are withdrawing our lawsuit in Michigan as a direct result of achieving the relief we sought: to stop the election in Wayne County from being prematurely certified before residents can be assured that every legal vote has been counted and every illegal vote has not been counted.” Even though Wayne County has certified their results?
