Ukraine and the Russian invasion, 2022-24

I don't think it's a troll. I think it's a rather pathetic true believer, suffering under the delusion that anyone is interested in listening to the maunderings it spews.
What do you imagine I 'truly believe' in? Do you even read my posts?

(And I hope the mods have noted which posters have started off the attempt at a minor derail by writing about other posters again. This is how it works: take a contribution to the thread; start off insulting the poster responsible in another attempt to get him banned.)

I wish you'd cunt the fuck off this thread. Or get cunted off: either way, I won't be sorry to see you gone. And no, it's not because your devastating insights are too much for me to bear.

It's because you're a cunt. A disruptive cunt. Just to be perfectly clear about it.

Now tell us what you really think about R2D2.

I'll tell you what I have noted, and that's the fact that you're right in the middle of every single thread derail and you've generated more reported posts from multiple posters than anyone else by a considerable factor. I don't believe that you're unaware about how your debating 'style' is managing to rub so many people up the wrong way, but I've had enough so you're now banned off this thread.

I'll also be issuing warnings to other posters who I feel have overstepped the line. I'll also issue warnings to anyone looking to get in the last word or keeping this disruptive crap going on any longer. He's now off this thread. End of discussion.

More likely than Russia, Israel assassinated a couple of military figures about a week ago and Iran swore revenge (which also included the rocket attack on Erbil in Iraq where the US has a base/consulate). There’s still other beef in the world.
I'm thinking it's likely to be Iran.

I see that the idea of a NFZ has been in this thread again in the last few pages. Whatever happens next, whatever NATO decides to do, make no mistake that a NFZ is a declaration of war against Russia. Those calling for a NFZ seem to be under the impression that it just involves calling it a NFZ and then patrolling with planes, maybe also having a few anti-aircraft missile batteries around the place. But that’s not what happens. If the US want to make a NFZ, the first thing they will do is pre-emptively take out all the other side’s anti-air missiles. You know, the ones they have in Russia. So to make a NFZ, the US will need to preemptively attack Russian targets in Russia. That’s all-out war, it’s not just being a peacekeeper.
It's easy for armchair generals to talk about NFZs when they didn't have a fucking missile drop 10 miles from their border a day ago.

Israel is also one place that is still chummy with Russia and so they have no real reason for pissing them off, when they could be messing with one of the many more hostile regimes out there.

Rules of war now? States are for the punishment of civilians. Those fuckers (Biden-Putin. Johnson Abramovich. or any number of nameless ghouls) have more in common between themselves across any phoney supposedly 'Nationalistic' grounds that they laugh at you for believing. Or even weary concepts like innocent civilians and children's lives counting as a sacred, inviolable worth.

Nope sorry you’ve got me there. I mean, I understand each individual word, but this is incoherent even by your normal standards of crayoning.

fair play

That's also really interesting in terms of the Kazakhs having there own relationship with Russia to manage, not to mention a still pretty substantial Russian population on the steppe borderlands with a bit of a Donbas-like potential, from one account I read.
