they're hoping for the traditional boostThen again six days before a Cup final is a strange time to pick to sack your manager.

You'd think he'd been working for the toriesI wish I got a £20 million payoff the last time I was sacked
Your mistake was not getting a job as manager of a Premier league club.I wish I got a £20 million payoff the last time I was sacked
it'll have to be. hope you had an each way bet onSecond in 2018 was it? That's good enough for me
or having the foresight to buy a tory mp a pintYour mistake was not getting a job as manager of a Premier league club.
Sounds like that's not a decision he had to make...Must admit that he doesn't seem the sort of man to give up millions for a principle but you never know.
£25m payoff for him I read, not a bad nest egg
"tactical genius"Also possible it was a convenient bust up to get sacked and paid out

ive been only half joking about Tim Sherwood - when he stepped in as caretaker I think Spurs played solid entertaining football with no mind games - Im expecting the same here - only to be spoiled next season by another inevitable painful appointmentLiked Ryan Mason as a player - good going forward, spiky in the tackle, high energy. If he brings some of that to his team, long may it continue.
no its on sky - stream here - definitely underdogs but im really cheered by the new management - I cant imagine there being any OTT counterattacking football being played. Theres enough talent there without Kane to maybe squeeze a win, looking forward to itIs the final on council telly? Really hope (dreamer) that Spuds win today.
The Kane Konundrum?
If his injury is not too bad does he start? If he goes off injured then that will impact top four hopes and possibly his international hopes.
Same if he is subbed on I guess. Doubt they will play him but lots of speculation on this. Playing City is a massive ask but without Kane is it a bit more uphill.
Optimistic take feels a bit doomed to meWell we were crap first half vs Southampton and really stepped it up. We've been a bit crap so far but equally you could put it down to City being so very, very good in possession - we just haven't been able to win the ball in an area where we can break forward and use the pace of Son and Lucas linking with Kane.
Stayed in it, by the skin of our teeth. Another 15 minutes, then get the eventual match winner on - stage is set for Gareth Bale.
I don't think he's looked right from the start. He's not playing his usual pressing game and doesn't want to seem to get involved. Probably had a couple of injections before the game to get him through this.Kane should come off I think, doesn't look right
