I really think Spurs are one player away from being a seriously good side - maybe not quite Liverpool/City yet, but 3rd with a gap to 4th and 5th.
Like when we brought in Edgar Davids all those years ago. Someone with that mentality of been there, done that, lifted the trophy.
For now though, 4th will do nicely. Champions League at the new WHL again

Yup, that is, I think the bit of hope that Conte brings - and with some other (been there, done that) signings, we can sign our way (with experienced winners) out of our typical mentality.

Not sure really. We've got a superb first 11 but not massive depth, so I don't think there's anywhere that can't be improved.
Maybe up front - we have only Lucas and Bergwijn in reserve. Troy Parrett should get a try, after a few fairly poor loans he's really come on for MK Dons (and the Irish full team), but he's pretty much the exact opposite of the 'experienced winner' we're looking for. Much as I love Stevie B I think he would probably want to move on, so that would free up a spot; the player I have in mind is almost certainly going elsewhere (Inter) but Dybala on a free transfer would be a stellar signing.
8 wins and a draw in the final 11 games. Brighton aside, quite superb in the run in - including lots of clean sheets
