the urban75 food shortage thread

i wouldn't call it a steak myself, a steak needs to have once walked the earth. or swum in the sea, in the case of a tuna steak
I'm a veggie, and I wouldn't even call it "steak". For it to gain pretend meat status, it needs to be a protein substance like soya or quorn or pea protein etc, or to be a protein rich mixture imitating a shape, like spicy bean burgers. Slices of houlloumi don't even qualify, tasty though they may be.

There is a temporary supply problem with one of the components of the glue of he patches, normal service should resume shortly.
Source? That's not what my pharmacist told me and it does not explain the same problem regarding the other medical/surgical supplies I've mentioned.

Epipens... shortage here. Parents buying them for kids for their return to school and it'll be a week to 10 days before new stock arrives.

Quite apart from the parasites and other nasties that you can get from eating raw or undercooked meat. I genuinely don't understand why people eat meat like that.

It isn't difficult to cook it through without it being tough. Hot heat to seal, then ease it back. Mrs Sas has been cooking it perfectly for me for 46 years now. :)
