The Urban 6 Nations 2018 Thread

I love what all the other teams are going to do to England.
The Irish will do them.
The All Blacks will do them.

The fucking Welsh didn't do fuck all.
Oh yeah...hang on, the moral victory. Brilliant.

Fuck all you ABE'S.
The Irish will open you up like kippers. So fuck England. On other forums all I'm getting is the Welsh are shit. And for such a shit team we've run you really close for two tournaments.

England World champions? You need to get past the elephant in the room first. Ireland. And tactically they cruelly exposed England last year and they'll do the same this year.

And roll on the ABs wiping that fucking round faced black toothed cuntmugs smug smile off his greasey face

Jones has acted like a fucking two year old running to world rugby like an infant. Fuck him and the horse he rode in on.

Good lord, spot the bad losers

I watched the match in a pub with die hard Welsh fans and they didn't whinge this much.

Get a grip, you weren't good enough today, it happens.

Not bad losers. I congratulate England. Thought their line speed and defence was magnificent. Just have a moral objection to swallowing the smell of some (note use of the word some) English fans farts. The whole fucking room stinks when they win anything. And when I hear 'a wins a win' I want to smash their fucking moronic heads against a wall.

Oh my!
It's too easy..:D:D:D:D
Look at you, being clever on the Internet.

Thing is, the posts you responded to like a bellend weren't particularly controversial - England weren't great against a side shorn of half its talent, they were holding on at the end and Wales scored a try that wasn't You may wish to reread my posts complimenting Farrell and Underwood. You may also stop trying to make out that you're a really clever troll. You're just a typical dick waving thread tourist who adds fuck all to the debate, tbh

Just so you know, this is pure projection, had the score been the other way round you'd have 'dined out' on it forever and we'd have been expected to take it.

But you can't take it the other way.

Get some perspective dude.

Why don't we all forget this nonsense and get back to talking about the rugby?

I really hope Patchell isn't thrown under the bus after today's poor game, you can't ignore a player for two years and then chuck him in and expect him to have a blinder at HQ in the rain. He deserves another chance.

That said Anscombe did well when he went to 10.

Utter tosh. I won't deny enjoying Welsh wins. But I don't dine out on them forever in a day. I'm brutally honest about Wales. And the more I see of England the less I think of Them. Sure they are a good team. But I don't see a team getting better. I see a team holding their own. And when they are outwitted tactically (as Ireland did so last year) they look painfully inadequate at times. I just think some (and again I use the word some) English fans and some sections of the media just spend forever in the day blowing smoke up their arse. But here in Wales we're used to that. I rarely bang on about the 70s but when I discuss rugby tactics and the way England play I often hear the retort about their world cup win.

Forever and a day.

thought wales made some poor penalty decions on the 1st half . should have gone for the 3 on a couple of occasions and kept the pressure on. in the 2nd half they look ed better when they thought they had half a sniff, confidence is everything. England's defence high in the Welsh half won them the game . Just like Mr Johnson and co all over again circa 2000-2003.

Just finally getting around to watching first half (was at my sons birthday party first half). Can someone explain to me the procedure with ref calling on a TMO. That Anscombe try was a try. Even Sir Fucking Lawrence said England got away with that. So what's the difference between a TMO decision when a ref calls 'Can you give me any reason as to why a try can't be awarded' or simply says 'Try or no Try' are they the same thing? Wasn't the linesman saying it was grounded too?

Don't waste yours, you tedious cock. Read the thread wrong, didn't you? Waded in like there was even an argument to be had. I'll see you again this time next year, Gabi.

Yeah, this. England defence was superb. Farrell at the foreront of that. Who got motm, by the way?

Henshaw we could manage without but i'm a bit worried about Furlong.
Schmidt thinks Furlong will be okay. We’ll miss Henshaw as he leads he defensive line, it got messy when Earls got in there. We’re down to bare bones on 13. Ringrose and Henshaw crocked means either Sam Arnold or Chris farrell in.

Yep, Farrell was brilliant in an obvious sense, best kicking from hand I've seen from him for England.

He also missed 7 tackles...

Launchbury goes unnoticed but he was everywhere, he hit almost every ruck, carried well, off loaded beautifully for the 2nd try and outplayed 4 lions locks.

Don't know if he can be cited for this, but Dylan Hartley could be in a whole lot of bother, hopefully it will be the end of his 6 nations!

You leave a thread for 36 hours and this happens.

I think the camera angle may be misleading on this tbh. Hartley being a dirty play is a bang on fact but I think this time he may have been further away than then Welsh player, we'll see. It wouldn't be a bad thing anyway as George would get a start.

As for the other decision it was a try, simple really. I cannot fathom what was going through the TMO's mind. Having watched the Ealing v Bristol match afterwards and saw two equally terrible TMO decisions I wonder if there was some sort of TMO all night drinking sesh in West London on Friday night, presumably doing vodka shots via the eye. Its the only conclusion I can come to.

I think I'll leave my thoughts on the game till the week and more sober assessment. Generally though frustrated and relieved.
