It was a clear try.

Our kicking game was awful and we consistently kicked the ball away off first receiver, why we are so clearly clueless with ball in hand when on the front foot I don't know.

My prediction may be based more on post-match frustration than what I've seen on the pitch. Either way there's a fair bit of rugby before that game!

Massive game of might have beens for me, where the difference was Farrell's defence, which was outstanding. Man and ball every time, frequently stripping in the tackle. Hammering Welsh momentum every time.

We were the better side for 60 minutes with 4 first choice players on the field. That we didn't score was at times because of our own idiocy, at times because of the guy playing 12. Looking at this through a different lens and thinking about squad depth this was a good performance. England really weren't all that post the first rabbit in the headlights 15 mins. They were a) shitting themselves and b) out on their feet at the end.

Have to say Bendus I think you watched a different game to me... We weren't there for most the game kicking away possession with no real answer answer to an an impressive English defense until they tired.... It was a try though
And England are beatable...

I said on another forum I thought it would take at least 3 seasons for us to get up to speed. Possibly 2. I'm not so sure now bendeus. I think we could be battle ready by next tournament and I really fancy our chances. I think Wales have played outstanding rugby in both games. Best I've seen for a long time.

Besides which this championship is still on. We could still take it on points. We beat Ireland and they beat England we have the clear advantage of Italy to gain some points. A 50 point tally on them could mean a win for us heading into super Saturday.
