I've just been watching Pariament live and they are discussing the proscribing of 15 more ( I think) organisations that are to be outlawed under the terrorism act because they Justify the killing of people and legitimate leaders of nations'.
Unsurprisingly, all are Muslim organisations
Alan Simpson ( Old labour) then asked why the Christian fundamentalist organisation in the US fronted by someone called Robertson was not to be banned for stating that President Chavez of Venezuela should be assasinated!!

Unsurprisingly, a new labour twot accused Simpson of confusing the issue ffs!

Proscribe this idiot site now!

"We have the Monroe Doctrine, and we have other doctrines that we have announced, and without question, this is a dangerous enemy to our south, controlling a huge pool of oil that could hurt us very badly. We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability".

You can hardly be an Islamist without being a Muslim. Perhaps one might argue the theology but it's definitely the case that Islamists claim to draw their principles from the Muslim faith.

You're right, and I'm grateful to you for making me clarify my point. What distinguishes these organisations is that they are terrorist organisations that pursue an islamist agenda through violence. I didn't make my point as well as I might - I sought to refute jiggajagga's view that they are being proscribed because they are "Muslim organisations". They are terrorist organisations.

The question still is; " Why is not the American site which glorifies violence banned?"

Because it is Christian perhaps?

I think you'll be seeing Greenpeace added to that list before any US fundamentalist Christian organisations are.

But perhaps I'm becoming cynical.
