I think sometimes that results in a shorter suspension (1 year?) or something like that. Or it might be that you have to have gone two years with no daytime fit or one year without a nighttime one.
They are very strict though. My dad got stung by a bee while gardening once, something he’s severely allergic to. The antihistamines he was given to prevent anaphylactic shock also stopped his anti-epilepsy drugs working, causing a fit and a driving ban. Wasn’t like he was routinely having fits then, but rules are rules.
