The reports are getting worse:

Between eight and 10 people have been killed in a shooting at a Texas high school, says a sheriff.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez told a news briefing the majority of the dead at Santa Fe High School were students.

A student is in custody after the attack at the school, which is about 40 miles (65km) south of Houston.

The school district has confirmed people were injured in an "active shooter" incident as classes began.

The sheriff of Harris County, the largest county in Texas, said his officers were tackling a "multiple-casualty incident".

When I went to the anti gun protest at the US Embassy recently, one of the things that the student speakers said and the students in the crowd agreed with was how they’d grown up with the idea that they could just be randomly shot at school and there was nothing they could do about it - with drills for what to do from when they were small - and they were sick of it.

Knowing the way the loon mind works, it will probably be the one who looks a bit like someone else who was seen in the background at some other tragedy (and by a bit I mean from a distance using an out of focus lens and after photoshop).

The Instagram could be just as fake as the Facebook hilary supporter. It says something about the wretched polarisation of American culture that people are willing to put effort into such things to attack the ‘other side’. What a fucking clown show that democracy has become.

Perhaps we need to start thinking of mass shootings in the US as sporting events, with each state trying to win the World Series of gun murders. I think Nevada would be in the lead so far, with Florida a close second. The real advantage of this approach of course is that sports events have rules. So, just as in baseball you have rules about tampering with the ball, you could have rules about magazine capacity etc but pass them off as part of the rules of the game.

That's kind of what the 4chan trolls want you to think - the stuff about guns on his social media pages comes from somewhat more reputable and local sources, regional papers and TV stations, and is based on going back post going back a long time - there's a tiny chance it's all some very elaborate hoax that somebody put a hell of a lot of work into in a few hours, but I don't think some cunt Photoshopping a Hillary hat on the guy is cause enough to say either side is equally believable.
