FFS. If the FBI shows up at your door saying your kid has issues, maybe you should believe them. I understand that there were broader issues in this family. HIs mom was arrested as recently as last April for drug use, fraud, vandalism, etc. You don't buy your kid an AR-15 to make up for parental failures. Again, I don't think parents should routinely been charged for their kid's crimes, but this dad was seriously negligent, and mom was mostly out of the picture. TBH, I'm beginning to think American parenting needs some review.

I think it's generally illegal, but with exceptions such as parental permission. Its going to depend on the state what the rule is.

Can this be true? At what age can children be said to "own" something? Would it be theft for a parent to confiscate a gun, or a teddy bear, from a ten year old child?

My son managed to get on the PrEVENT list via some really inappropriate humour.
I didn't go out and buy him a crossbow and a set of zombie knives and I'm me.
Just how low do you have to go to think.
A an 14yr old should have uncontrolled access to an Ar15?
B a boy who had mulder and sculley turn up about threats he made! Should have access to guns

More killed than wounded. Roughly twice as many. Other way around with shootings where cops aren't involved.

Probably because gangsters, rednecks and poorly-supervised toddlers don't have a 'shoot to kill' policy to prevent their victims from suing them.

Could be AI. Unless it was a small image overly scaled-up, the indistinct writing on the menu boards and screens plus the odd hand position of the guy in blue jeans is a possible indicator...?
