If lynching would help the greiving I'm all for it .Doubt anyone has done any research into whether it helps or not though.
They have. It doesn't, apparently.

or drugsBegs the question of why would you ban murder, either?
So sad, but shit like this makes me feel glad I live in the UK. It's really up to the US to decide they've reached the tipping point when it comes to gun control. Pathetic to watch Obama look like he's giving a shit when he'll do fuck all...
The NRA should be proscribed as a terrorist organisation
Sorry if this has already been covered but is Elementary School similar ages to our Primary Schools?
Americas awash with weapons you can buy them and ammo at there version of asda.
Its in there consitution and the NRA and millions of american belive they need guns and a vaststock pile of ammo or the Brits will comeback take there guns off them and enforce the NHS on them .
Short of deciding to fight a 2nd civil war obama has no hope of doing anything meaningful.
The Assualt rifle ban that induced rage in gunowners.
Wasnt a ban how we woud understand it i.e no semi automatic rifles above .22
It was rather complicated bulshit banned a few named weapons and other rifles could have some military features but not all it was bollocks folding stocks/ flash hiders/ bayonet fittings arnt really important compared with the ability to fire 30 rounds of high velocity ammo as fast as you can pull the trigger

Adam Lanza

Once again, this page was not made to glorify nor hate on the shooter - It's for updates on the criminal investigation. The reason the name Adam Lanza was used is because they is what you all would look up. That is how you got here isn't it?
A few pages later on and it transpires that God did it, because of gay people getting married.
I'm sure that in the past the same could have been claimed of many other societies that now prohibit firearms.framed said:It would be pretty much impossible to try now to disarm American society

In another thread someone on here provided info showing that other countries, including European countries, have similar gun ownership laws to the USA, but a fraction of the gun crime.
I may have got some of that wrong or misunderstood but, it seems from what I have read that it's not the fact that the guns are there or citizens general entitlement to OWN one, but more a national wide (totally generalising) state of mind regarding the entitlement to USE one.
That's the problem imho. Not the existence of or amount of guns, but the collective ideal surrounding them.
I may be babbling shit and apologise if I am.
I don't think there is much he can do... Guns are prolific both legal and illegal, the entire weight of the NRA and lunatics is against him. If anything is going to change it has to come from the people and they seem to be a bit 'school shootings happen sometimes' like they are normalisedPathetic to watch Obama look like he's giving a shit when he'll do fuck all...
Is it also still topping the suicide by gunshot table (switzerland I mean)

Switzerland
Main article: Gun politics in Switzerland
Switzerland practices universal conscription, which requires that all able-bodied male citizens keep fully automatic firearms at home in case of a call-up. Every male between the ages of 20 and 34 is considered a candidate for conscription into the military, and following a brief period of active duty will commonly be enrolled in the militia until age or an inability to serve ends his service obligation.[82] During their enrollment in the armed forces, these men are required to keep their government-issued selective fire combat rifles and semi-automatic handguns in their homes.[83] Up until September 2007, soldiers also received 50 rounds of government-issued ammunition in a sealed box for storage at home.[84] In addition to these official weapons, Swiss citizens are allowed to purchase surplus-to-inventory combat rifles, and shooting is a popular sport in all the Swiss cantons. These facts aside, some Swiss gun laws are more restrictive than those in the US. Unlicensed persons are not permitted to carry weapons except under special certain circumstances such as travel to military training. Owners are legally responsible for third party access and usage of their weapons. Licensure is similar to other Germanic countries.[85] In a referendum in February 2011 voters rejected a citizens' initiative which would have obliged armed services members' to store their rifles and pistols on military compounds (rather than keep them at home
